Be Alright Holiday 2020 Campaign!
Dear Be Alright Supporters,
We are excited to announce the Be Alright Holiday 2020 Campaign!
It is amazing to believe but it is officially our 11th year ensuring that families living in Chicago-area Domestic Violence shelters like Greenhouse, House of the Good Shepherd, Maria Shelter and Centro Romero, are able to enjoy the holiday season with yummy food, presents, a visit from Santa and wonderful live music!
So you may be wondering, "How will Be Alright be able to support survivors of domestic violence during this particularly challenging holiday season?"
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, our holiday parties will have to look a little different. Starting with Santa meeting with the kids virtually and one family at a time, ordering individualized meals for each family to avoid sharing food with others and delivering presents safely.
We hope at this point you're asking, "Well, l how can I help?"
The best way you can help is to donate toward the campaign. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support these amazing families this holiday season and any amount is welcome!
So how can you donate toward this effort?
1. PayPal is still the easiest way and please make sure you note that this is a "gift to a friend" and not "for goods and services". Thank you! Here's our quick PayPal Link: paypal.me/bealrightchicago
2. Go to bandcamp.com tomorrow and purchase "Rain" a song co-written by our founder, Dr. Sonia Oyola and her dear friend, amazing artist, Sami Scot Stewart. All proceeds for this song will go directly to Be Alright: https://bandcamp.com
3. Be on the lookout for details to a Zumbathon fundraiser to support our friends at Centro Romero!
A million thanks to you and may this message find you and your loved ones well.
We send you our love and support.
